None!…
Babies love to be held and should be held! Prams put a lot of stress on a baby’s spine! (and so do Bjorn’s!)…check this out!: http://www.bobafamily.com/research/strollers-baby-carriers-and-infant-stress/
Due to our evolution and upright walking, our pelvises have gotten smaller which means that our babies are born much more ‘early’ compared to any other primate – though this is why we have such big brains! – however it does explain why our babies are born unable to walk and get themselves around. If you do the math (and theres no need as someone else has already done it for us! haha), we should, compared to other primates, gestate our babies for 18 months. But we don’t – we only do it for 9 months. So – 9 months in and 9 months out!… Wear your baby in a sling! You don’t need a pram!
There are many good slings to choose from and if you are on a budget, the Moby is a good one to start off with. You can get a lot of slings used on various forums – try out ‘thebabywearer.com’ for starters! This can make buying a sling much more affordable and they can give you all the advice that you need!
In a sling, your baby has everything that they need – YOU! …and our arms can be left free to do the things that you also have to do in our busy modern world today! Plus – a sling is often much cheaper than any pram!
Have fun and good luck!
I saw this coming a mile away, that woman’s kid is big enough to walk by themselves and yet Mommy has enough provisions and buggy armor for a month.
I was hoping for an epic tantrum on the part of one of them but this is all that happened.
The 151, and the 36 both pass through Uptown and are chock full of characters, smells, insanity and it’s ALWAYS overcrowded, sometimes it’s just better to walk as far as you can.
Like if CNR brought you here!

Other then Big W or Target. Mind you I live in a small town, so no stores that are only in Brisbane or Sydney or all that.
Try Mothercare shops they are all over Australia.
i had a pram facing me until my little girl was about 6mths then i changed it to the buggy facing away setting that got to bulky so got a little fold away buggy again facing away & shes really independent & at 2& half yrs she prefers walking… although i still use it when in a hurry & on a short time limit
